Holding My Head Up!
I'm getting so strong! I can hold my head up like a big girl. Of course, I do get tired quickly, and end up head-butting Daddy in his cheek :)

What's In A Name?
Kelly and I had been working on a list of names (which got a bit easier once we knew we could focus on girl names). As you all know, we didn't share any of our name ideas with family or friends. It was tough enough coming up with names without taking EVERYONE'S opinion into consideration.
In May of 2008, Kelly and I went for a weekend at our favorite bed and breakfast (The Applewood Inn) in Freeport, ME. One of our favorite activities, after having a delicious dinner at Azure Cafe is to shop at LL Bean at around 11pm or midnight. It's great, the store is empty and there's plenty of employees around to help!
We were chatting with a saleslady (we're bummed that we don't remember her name) and were trying out our list of names on her. One of her children's middle name is Kaibre (we think this is how she spells it, we know it was different than Caebre). This lady had studied abroad in Ireland and the family there had a daughter named Kaibre and she really liked it.
Kelly and I added that name to the list. The longer it stayed on the list, the more we liked it. Then we started referring to "the baby" as Caebre before she was born. It stuck and we are just in love with the name.
We have Googled the heck out of the name (as well as: Kaibre, Kaibrey, Cabrey, etc.) and can only find that it is of Irish origin. If anyone out there is a better Googler than I, please post a comment if you find anything.
Regardless of its original meaning, we now know what the name means to us :)
Ellen, Caebre's middle name, is from Kelly's Mom.
Sullivan, Caebre's last name...well, kinda no choice on that one.
