More park time!

It was a spur-of-the-moment idea and I didn't have a jacket for her, just her heavy sweater. Fortunately, I had a hat and mittens in the diaper bag, because it was COLD! She didn't care, though. She had a blast!
Hi Mommy!
She was making her mittened hands talk to each other. Cracked me up!

Hair she is!

Check out these curls!

Trick or Treat!

Getting ready to go trick or treating...
It didn't last long. We may have been out there for a half an hour. After that, Cae just wanted to run around the house in her costume. She loved answering the door for trick or treaters and only got scared once. All in all, she did great!
The candy was a whole other issue. I think some of our trick or treaters may have gotten some squished chocolate.
And is this not the most evil-looking ladybug you've ever encountered? Just don't mess with her chocolate and everybody will be fine...

Caebre's fall photo shoot

Last swim lesson!

Sasha and Caebre just before the start of their last swim lesson. I know they don't look happy, but that has more to do with the camera than the swimming!

Visting

Auntie Jess came to visit from Washington and took this cool picture of Caebre and Daddy
Mommy and Auntie Jess...friends for almost 25 years!

Caebre's favorite hobby

Reading...with a Mommy who's a voracious reader and a Grandma who's a librarian, something like this was bound to happen.

Fun at the park

It was a windy, cold day, but we made the best of it...

And old favorite!

Cae's first "peanut" butter and jelly sandwich. It's actually sunflower seed butter and blueberry jam on oatbran bread. I tried to make it healthy! She seemed to enjoy it.

Fall Fun

We spent a small fortune on pumpkins, but Cae sure had fun decorating them. First with Daddy...
Then with Auntie Heather..
Grandma helped too...
And then it was time for the carving. Grandma and Mommy worked on that. Cae watched in horror...
I was asking her if she wanted to help pull the stuff out. She looked at me like "not even with someone else's hand, Mommy."

Cae and her "twin sister"

I was painting my bedroom and had to take my mirror off my dresser. Cae really had fun with it! She really thought there was another baby in the room playing with her. I asked her if she wanted to show the baby her belly :)
I don't know what she was doing here (maybe yawning?) but it was a really funny picture!
She kept laying down to see if the "baby" disappeared too.
Nope! There she is!

More teeth!

You can't see them all, but Cae now has 5 teeth "out" and I can see a couple more white bumps!

Apple Picking Adventure

The whole crew (minus Mikki, who was taking the picture)...l to r, Glenn, Cole, Tina, Chris, Caebre, Kelly and Sasha.
Caebre's mode of transport this year.
Us!
Cae, exerting her superior pumpkin picking strength.
The ride home. Much different from last year :)

New trees!

River Birch
Maple

Pigtails and a good book

Cae's favorite book!
Clearly, a funny part...
She counts...there are 4 trees and 5 birdies...
The End. Look at that cutie!

At the park

First time down the slide all by herself!

Girls' Weekend at Grandma's!

We took a girls only trip to Grandma's house. This was supposed to be plaster funtime with Auntie Heather, but it didn't work out...Oh well! Next time!
There was work to be done at Grandma's too!
Bedtime story...
Grandma is the best bedtime story reader. Caebre and bear were rapt.

Feeding the ducks

One afternoon, we went to Memorial Park in Plymouth to have a little walk and to feed the ducks.
I finally found a use for all the bread you get with a chinese takeout order!
Cae had a blast. I had to hold her back - she wanted in the water with the ducks!
Cae in Mommy's glasses.
We did a little shopping after and Cae got her own sunglasses.
